Viva La Madre Tierra
The San Francisco Carnaval is an annual weekend celebration of community, culture, and homeland. It brings together the entire Mission District in a flurry of colour, dance, and music.

During my year abroad, I was lucky enough to find myself in San Francisco and attended the 2016 San Francisco Carnaval. The theme was "Viva La Madre Tierra" (Long Live Mother Earth).

Love, actually is all around!

Weddings and Hen Parties are full of love, smiles, and happiness. They bring light into a world that often documents darkness, and you realise that "love, actually is all around."

Jess has been my friend since we were 5 years old and I was honoured when she and Dan asked me to be the official photographer for their special day. Jess' Hen Party was full of friends, adventure, and pure silliness - as they say, girls just want to have fun!
A city coming out of the shadows!
​
The UK City of Culture is an award given every four years to the city with the most cultural potential. It is designed to initiate social and economic development. The 2017 City of Culture, themed "a city coming out of the shadows," was awarded to Kingston upon Hull.
​
Throughout 2017, I saw Hull develop into a vibrant city full of community, love, and history. Every institution, charity, and organisation pulled together to create on spectacular year. I am proud to have graduated in the 2017 City of Culture.

Take the beach to the extreme!
​
Ultimate Frisbee is a relatively new non-contact sport, and is currently the only self-referred team sport. It is a mix of Netball and American Football, but with a frisbee. Take the beach to the extreme!
​
During my time at the University of Hull, I was a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team and loved every moment of it. I also played with the women's team at the University of Massachusetts during my year abroad. Following a long-term injury in 2015, I began documenting the games and tournaments of our awesome team.
